Naija Music Big Things: Jay Naize Follow Follow is Becoming a Worldwide Hit!

Not long ago we (Tafia Naija) published an article about this young talented artist during the released of his song ''My Way''. Right now it seems this young energetic artist keeps coming up and hitting us with surprises, as he dropped another hot single ''Follow Follow'', which has become the next big thing in the clubs. Last time i checked, i saw this same song on almost all the big Nigerian music blogs such as Notjustok,Naijapals,Tayotv,Hitbangers,BellaNaija,Tooxclusive,Jaguda.com and many more.
The Djs and radio stations are costantly mixing and playing this song which is gradually becoming a hit worldwide.

Here is a short biography of Jay Naize:
Jay Naize (pronounce J-Nice) aka Bonomaster hit the music scene at the age of 9 rapidly moving into featuring on a radio and TV show "No Hide Your Talent"

He recorded his first single in his teens rapping and creating a unique hip hop high life mix that has continued to wow fans and peers worldwide.

After releasing his single 'You No Dey Try' , Jay Naize was signed on by a manager and went on to record ' Da Joint Breaker' alongside Smoky, Acid and Jerreman.

Following the conclusion of his higher education, he relocated and he is currently in Madrid, Spain where he continues to record music, produce music and he has continued relentlessly playing in the public arena at shows, gigs, private functions and events.

Jay Naize has released Bonoloto, Afuruniganya,Time over Time,My way,My Baby hit singles all part of several hot jams. He is due to release on his new album which shall be released shortly and with his impressive stage presence, resonant voice and ability to roll off lyrics that leave novices feeling like they are grappling with tonguetwisters, Jay Naize demonstrates talent that promises to deliver again and again.

Amber Rose is really basking in the joys of pregnancy.

The model and actress, who's expecting her first child with fiance Wiz Khalifa, posted photos of her 7months and bare baby bump on Twitter, proving she's embracing mother hood and all that comes with it.

In one of the pictures, it appears Amber Rose is nudé, but the star reassures her fans she's not.

She says: "I swear I have shorts on in this pic but my belly is so big u can't see them Lol," she tweeted on Dec. 1, adding that she's enjoying a vegetarian diet during her pregnancy. "Escarole & Beans and salad with beets & Russian dressing yumm Thx Mommy #Vegetarian :-)."

Very few Nigerians will know the renowned musician named Kokoma Ikpong, but majority of people will know her as a very wealthy and young business lady. Few days before this interview, our press team was alerted that she was in town and luckily she was spotted having cocktail with few white friends of hers.

Hi, can we meet you?

I’m Kate Kokoma Ikpong.

We understand you're not fully based in Nigeria, can you talk about that?

Yes, I'm based in California USA. I have two companies there and am actually running down home finally. I might still go back to California but for now I feel it’s time to come enjoy Africa and do something here, at lease contribute to growth of the country.

You are into music, we have seen your smashing video, can you tell us about your music career?

I have been a music lover right from my secondary school, was the vice president of a choreography club. Then we used to perform every Sunday at the chapel. Started writing songs from SS.2 and I recorded my first single in 2006. I then moved to United States, and have been privileged to be in the studio with amazing artiste like Beyonce, Rihanna, Coldplay, Avril lavigne, Shade Adu and I actually did a song with R-Kelly but that record wasn’t released. So professionally I have been into music for six years.

So now that you are in Nigeria, what’s your plan for the Nigeria Music Industry?

I have always been a business person and truthfully I know what it's like being new or rather, functioning in a new geographical area or market. So for now I want to make friends, partner with young people and just have fun but also focusing on building a brand musically in Nigeria.

Which Nigerian artist would like to work with?

I have so many of them and truth be told I have a bit of a crush on some single Nigerian Male Artiste. I truly feel Flavour is quite cute and yes my very own D’banj. I’d really like to work with BankyW, Asa, WizKid, Tuface, Flavour, Olamide, Eva, BrymO, Tiwa Savage and the list goes on.

What’s the craziest thing you have experienced so far in the Nigeria Music Industry?

A lot actually, but I still feel Alaba market people are quite weird to me or maybe I just need to understand the Nigerian music business a bit more.

What made you leave the United States to come start all over in Nigeria?

I don’t know actually, but here’s a thing, when I was making plans to come back home most of my friends were like “why are you going to Africa, please don’t go”. Guess what I told them? I sincerely don’t know where that thought came from but I just said, "D’Banj proposed to me." They were so excited and immediately got their blessings and here I am pursuing that dream to bless the Nigeria Music Industry.

How old are you?

I'm in my 20’s, single and looking for my African Prince.

Ghanaian Artists, R2bess and Sarkodie Boycott Concert Over Unfair P-square Pay

R2Bees and Sarkodie (from Ghana) were billed to perform on the same stage at today’s Malta Guinness sponsored ‘Top of the World Concert’ alongside P-Sqaure (from Nigeria) . It is alleged that the organizers (Charter House) have agreed to pay Psquare a whooping $200,000 and the Ghanaian musicians (Sarkodie & R2Bees) a chicken $5,000 each (approximately).

Pregnant Nollywood Actress Beaten to Death by Lover

Information reaching us from the Yoruba movie industry, otherwise known as ANTP, indicates that one of the fast rising actresses, Silifa Ladeji famously known as Silifonia, was on Wednesday beaten to death by her lover during a misunderstanding.



A close friend of the late Silifonia, who is also an actress, said that Silifonia who was heavily pregnant before her sudden demise had been a victim of battery and assault in the hands of her lover.

We gathered that the suspect is currently at large, while the corpse of Silifonia has been deposited at an undisclosed mortuary. may her soul rest in peace.

The people who police Facebook are looking like bóobs after confusing a woman’s elbows for her Nipplés.

The photo, which shows a blonde woman in a bathtub with her elbows on the side, was actually part of an experiment by a Tumblr blog called Theories of the Deep Understanding of Things, which wanted to see just how observant the social media’s “bréast police” were, according to CNET

The image, which shows no nud ity, was removed by the social networking site within 24 hours of posting.

The group told Mediaite: “FB moderators can’t tell an elbow from a dangerous, filthy, uncanny and violent female bréast.” They added, “No questions were asked and the post is down. Imagine our surprise.”

Once the site editors revealed their titillating plot, Facebook officials nipped the ban in the bud, allowing the photo of the nipple-like elbows back on the site, telling HuffPost UK: “This photo does not violate our content standards and we have already restored the photo. We made a mistake removing the picture and apologised to the page admin.”

Most of the Facebook moderation is done by workers in Morocco and other developing countries who are paid $1 an hour by an outsourcing company called oDesk, the Daily Mail reported.

Moderators are reportedly told to delete all forms of sexual activity, even simulated activity where there was nothing explicit on show, but deep wounds, excessive blood and “crushed heads, limbs etc.” are allowed — “as long as no insides are showing,” the paper reported.

The new papa (he just had a son) is wanted by the Nigerian police for a hit and run that occurred in Ikeja penultimate Friday.

According to police reports, Terry G hit the victim, Moshood Azeez, with his car while leaving Club Royale located on Oba Akran Rd Ikeja.

Moshood, whose leg was crushed in the accident, was rushed to General Hospital Ikeja where he is still receiving treatment. Terry G was said to have fled the scene of the accident now making it a police case.

Police at Wemabod Estate, Ikeja invited the Akpako master for questioning but he didn't respond to the invitation. Corporal Linus Reuben who is in charge of the case said Terry G has left the country for the UK. He said they plan to go after him once he returns.
