Breaking News- Earthquake Hits Japan.

News reaching me now is that Japan has been hit by earthquake. Is this world coming to an end? so many disasters happening everyday: I pray all should be well with Japan cos they have really been through alot recently.

An earthquake with a Richter Scale reading of magnitude 5.5 jolted northern Japan on Friday, November 9, 2012, the Japan Meteorological Agency reported.

The temblor, which was 20km deep, struck at around 12:52 p.m. local time and centered at Fukushima-ken Oki.

There were no immediate reportsof injuries or damage and no tsunami warning was issued.

The Agency also recorded three aftershocks within the first hour after the quake hit, with strongest measuring 4.2 magnitude.
